Lodestone has carved out a green steel company that will look at the possibility of green steel production in Namibia and has all the ingredients to produce green steel at a per capita output commensurate with developed and industrialised nations.
Lodestone and Hyron Africa will pursue steel production vigorously, with no other sector bringing as much fundamental change to Namibia’s economy as a steel & heavy industry base.

Carsten Mosch
Carsten was a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank and has more than 25 years of experience in international capital markets. In his last banking role, Carsten was Co-European head of Structured and Liquid Interest Rate Trading covering a broad range of debt instruments. Carsten is a principal investor in Lodestone and servesnas CEO and chairman of the Board of Directors.
Emmeric Angermund
Emmeric is a qualified chartered accountant withover 8 years'experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Lodestone in 2021, he worked as an investment Banker for Capricorn Capital, part of the Capricorn Group of companies. He holds a degree in B.BSci (Finance and Accounting) from the University of Cape Town and a certificate in advanced valuation from NYU Stern (Passed with high honours).
Daniel Castelyn
Daniel is an experienced metallurgist, and prior to joining Lodestone in 2018 was a member of the Swakop Uranium processing team responsible for the commissioning and ramp up of its USD$2.5 billion hydrometallurgical plant and mine. Daniel holds a BSc. and MSc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cape Town and started his mining career with AngloGold Ashanti through its Management Trainee Program.
